Pakachere IHDC seeks to improve and sustain increased access to high quality information and services for HIV prevention, treatment, and retention among Key Populations, Adolescent Girls and Young Women, Adolescent Boys and Young Men and their sexual partners. Pakachere uses its comparative advantage in the combined delivery of SBCC as well as provision of friendly and high-quality HIV prevention and SRH services for KPs, AGYW/ABYM and their clients. These key and priority populations are oftentimes marginalized and face multiple challenges to access HIV and AIDS services. They face both structural and social barriers to prevention, treatment, and care services due to limited information and outreach services hence Pakachere provides high quality friendly HIV prevention and treatment services through Drop-In Centers (DICs), Mobile Outreach Clinics and Referral to Public Facilities. Pakachere also supports Peer and community led interventions to deliver HIV prevention services. Through Drop-in-Centres, differentiated service delivery models are implemented.
